Privacy Policy

At Kidiwin we believe a kids' chore-chart app should never know more about your family than it strictly needs. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what data we handle when you use the Kidiwin mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information stored on your device

  • Profiles: Children's names, dates of birth, and avatar or photo. Stored only on your iPhone.
  • Tasks, stars, prizes and history: Everything you configure and every action (completed, not completed, bonus, penalty, redemption) is stored locally.

1.2 Information you send us

  • Contact form: If you write to us via the contact form, we receive your name, email and message. We use them only to reply to you.

1.3 Information we do NOT collect

  • No account, no password, no email at sign-up.
  • No analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • No advertising identifiers.
  • No location data.

2. How We Use the Information

  • To make the App work — your local data is what powers the chart, the stars and the prize box.
  • To process subscriptions and the free trial via Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.
  • To reply when you contact us.

3. Where Your Data Lives

All your family data stays on your iPhone, in the App's private storage (AsyncStorage). We do not have a server, a database or any other place where your data is replicated. If you delete the App, the data is gone.

Kidiwin is configured by an adult. The App makes that explicit during onboarding. Children do not create profiles, do not enter data, do not see ads and are not tracked. There is no third-party advertising in the App.

If you believe Kidiwin has somehow received personal data from a child without parental consent, please write to contact@kidiwin.app and we'll act on it immediately.

6. Your Rights

Because we don't hold your data, most rights (access, deletion, portability) are exercised directly by you on your device:

  • Access / portability: The App's history screen shows the full log; deleting the App removes everything.
  • Deletion: Use the "Reset settings" option in Settings, or uninstall the App.
  • Subscription cancellation: Use Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

7. Subscriptions and Free Trial

The paid features are managed via auto-renewing subscriptions on the App Store. The 3-day free trial converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds, when applicable, are processed by Apple under their own policy.

8. Notifications

The App can send three types of local notifications: prize day reminder, end-of-day reminder, and an inactivity nudge. Each one is optional and can be turned off independently in the App's settings or in iOS Settings. They are scheduled locally on your iPhone — we do not have a push server.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated within the App.
