Terms of Use
Last updated: April 29, 2026These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kidiwin mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App you confirm you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The App must be set up by an adult; if you are using it on behalf of a minor, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian.
2. What Kidiwin Does
Kidiwin is a family chore-chart app. Among other things it lets you:
- Create profiles for one or several children.
- Build a weekly task chart, with built-in tasks or custom ones with photo.
- Configure a prize box, with built-in prizes or custom ones with photo.
- Award and subtract stars, including manual bonuses and penalties.
- Open a redemption window on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- Send useful local notifications and keep a full history.
Kidiwin is a household-routine tool. It is not a parenting, psychological or medical service.
3. Profiles and Data
The App does not require account registration. Profiles, tasks, prizes and history are stored locally on your iPhone. You are responsible for the device, the data on it, and supervising any minors who use it.
4. Subscriptions and Free Trial
4.1 Free configuration
Configuring profiles, building the chart, designing the prize box and changing settings are all free.
4.2 Paid actions
Marking a task as completed or not completed, awarding bonuses or penalties, redeeming a prize and accessing the history require an active subscription. The free trial lasts 3 days.
4.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
4.4 Refunds
Refunds are processed by Apple under their App Store policy. We do not handle them directly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source.
- Use the App to harass, threaten, manipulate or harm a child.
- Pretend to be someone else when contacting us.
6. Intellectual Property
The App's code, name, logo, illustrations, copy and design are owned by Kidiwin and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your devices.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will be free of bugs, work without interruption or fit any specific outcome. We do not promise particular educational or behavioural results from your children.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kidiwin will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us during the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
We can suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are breached. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated within the App or by updating this page. Continued use of the App means you accept the new version.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection law and by the law of the country where Kidiwin operates. Any dispute will go through arbitration or the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
